This year's grant application cycle is now complete.
We were impressed by the many grant applications we received this year. We're getting in contact with grant awardees and all applying organizations.
Thank you for what you do to support the youth of our community.
The purpose of the Rotary Club of Ashland Lithia Springs grants program is to actively support Youth Programs in the Rogue Valley. Grant amounts awarded will not exceed $1,000.
Guidelines:
- Grant request shall be for activities which are in strict compliance with the purposes and guidelines of Rotary International. Information about Rotary International can be found at www.Rotary.org.
- Grants will only be made for youth programs of non-profit organizations holding 501 (c)(3) IRS tax status or public schools and local governmental agencies that directly engage youth in the Rogue Valley.
- Requests must be submitted electronically on the attached form and received no later than midnight, January 20, 2010. No additional pages or attachments will be considered. Applications should be sent as an email attachment to secretary@lithiaspringsrotary.org .
- Requests for capital projects or general operating expenses will not be considered.
- Notification of successful applicants will be made in February, 2010.
- A one page report of the grants outcome and 3-5 photographs of youth engaged in the grant-funded program will be submitted electronically within one month after the completion of the project.
- Grant recipients may be scheduled to present a brief overview of the grant-funded program and its outcomes at a meeting of the Rotary Club of Ashland Lithia Springs before the end of December 2010. Meetings are held at 7 AM every Tuesday in the Ashland Community Center on Winburn Way.
